Companies looking for office space to rent in Cardiff might be set to gain financially from a new tax break that has been welcomed by the Forum of Private Business (FPB).
The Regional Employer NICs Holiday for New Businesses initiative will give start-ups in certain areas of the UK, including Wales, a recess on employers' National Insurance for the first ten workers they take on.
And this could free up additional finance for emergent firms seeking serviced offices.
Phil Orford, chief executive of the FPB, welcomed the move but said he would like to see the coalition do more to help small organisations.
"If the government is serious about creating conditions for real economic recovery based on strong small business growth, it needs to introduce even bolder tax policies," he commented.
Recently, Colin Borland, public affairs manager for the Federation of Small Businesses in Scotland, remarked a short-term solution is needed to increase the lending of banks to emergent firms, according to the Scotsman.
