Businesses in serviced offices in Northampton could engage with their customers by introducing social gaming, it has been suggested.
Will Freeman, editor of CasualGaming.biz, predicted more and more companies will use begin to use social gaming as a marketing tool.
Games allow organisations to "engage with a captivated audience", he explained.
Mr Freeman noted the industry is relatively young and there is room for improvement, but it has the potential to be very effective.
"Social gaming provides a more direct avenue to reach the consumer," he added.
Therefore, firms in serviced offices might wish to consider this strategy as a means of interacting with their customers.
Mr Freeman's comments come after ITV announced it is set to release an online social gaming application for Coronation Street, which people will be able to play on ITV.com and Facebook.
According to the broadcaster, it is the first software of its kind to be based on a British soap opera.
