Firms seeking serviced offices may wish to heed the advice of a business expert if they want to develop into a large enterprise from a small one.
Peter Hiscocks, a fellow in entrepreneurship at Cambridge Judge Business School, said the most successful way for a company to stay ahead of its competitors is to "keep innovating" and to develop products quicker than its rivals
And the biggest difficulty facing emerging companies is finding money, he continued.
Mr Hiscocks remarked there is big difference between the amount of finance it takes to begin an enterprise - which many people can acquire from their savings and loans from family members and friends - and the large sum of money needed to expand the firm effectively.
"This gap is very critical in early business ventures in allowing them to get started and grow fast," he explained.
Mr Hiscocks was speaking during a radio documentary podcast entitled 'So, where should our business leaders begin?', which aimed to explore how managers can increase the efficiency of their companies.
