A good boss is important to businesses, such as those in serviced offices, it has been suggested.
Research conducted for the 2010 Orange Leader of the Year Award found 56 per cent of bosses stated they have actively changed their leadership stance in an attempt to be seen as part of the team.
Shaf Rasul, a dragon on Dragon's Den online and a judge for the 2010 Orange Leader of the Year Award, said: "I have taken a much more active interest in the welfare of my staff for example, I've tried to get more involved with the staff and it seems that I'm not the only person."
He added that an important priority for bosses is to lead by example and be a very firm but fair person.
Those in serviced offices may also wish to think about recent research from Reabur, which revealed that 21 per cent of Britons feel bullied by their boss at work, while a further 28 per cent consider themselves picked on by a peer.
