Businesses, including those in serviced offices should not be too disappointed about the delay of universal 2 Megabit per second (Mbps) broadband in the UK, it has been suggested.
The new coalition government has announced it will aim to achieve a broadband service level of 2Mbps by 2015 - rather than 2012 as had initially been planned - due to a lack of funding.
Firms looking to secure a reliable internet connection may wish to consider a move to a serviced office.
Chris Marling, editor of BroadbandGenie.co.uk, said: "If we could ensure a minimum standard of 2Mb by 2015, it would be something - everyone has to be realistic about the economic conditions."
He added although the announcement was disappointing it was inevitable as the broadband tax that was set to provide a large part of the cash has been scrapped.
The Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority recently announced that as of July 1st, consumers and businesses in the country would be entitled to a 1Mbps broadband subscription at their home or business.
