Staple pieces could help ladies working at serviced offices in Northampton to look chic while staying cool this summer.
This is according to style and beauty guru Nicky Hambleton-Jones, who is perhaps best-known for presenting fashion show 10 Years Younger.
She explained how purchasing a few key items and embracing the current colour-blocking trend can be a good way to "survive the heat and still look smart".
"Chiffon blouses are great, as they are light, sheer and can be teamed with tailored shorts, linen trousers or pencil skirts," Ms Hambleton-Jones commented.
Professional women were also encouraged to opt for espadrilles with a wedge heel as a "smart" yet comfortable alternative to flip-flops.
Bright bangles and vibrant cardigans were recommended as good ways to add an injection of colour into summer wardrobes.
The comments come after RollOnFriday featured a recently leaked email from law firm Allen & Overy that warned trainees not to wear very short skirts in hot weather.
