Businesses using serviced offices in Hemel Hempstead may be interested to hear that increased levels of regulation in the financial services industry is having a positive effect on salaries.

That is the opinion of Lynne Hardman, managing director of professional services at recruitment consultancy Badenoch & Clark, who revealed her firm has seen an increase in the remuneration packages being offered for these roles in recent months.

On top of that, she added, the number of opportunities has also risen, suggesting a significant upturn in the fortunes of the finance sector, driven by a tightening of the rules surrounding employers.

"Increased levels of regulation and compliance are clearly applying upward pressure to both the number of vacancies and salaries within the financial sector as a whole," the expert commented.

Her comments come after recent research by Powerchex showed the number of confirmed job offers within the finance industry increased by 16 per cent last month.
