Companies operating out of serviced offices in Edinburgh may find joining a support organisation could help them maintain growth over the coming years.
This is according to a spokesperson for the Forum of Private Business (FPB), which explained how they can help to ensure enterprises run smoothly.
It was suggested that help with "the basics" can be provided, such as ensuring all HR aspects are covered without distracting from "the day-to-day running of the business".
According to the FPB spokesperson, guaranteeing things are on order and meet with legislation changes can cause people to "take their eye off the ball".
As a result, joining a support organisation that can help individuals prioritise running a business was listed as a "very good idea".
Elsewhere, the Federation of Small Businesses recently conducted a survey that found 70 per cent of small companies expect the VAT rise to have a negative impact on their firm.
