Employers at serviced offices in Edinburgh may find hiring staff easier following a new incentive due to be launched by the Scottish government.
Finance secretary John Swinney announced that a new funding package worth £10 million will be used to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to take on more employees.
He explained that up to 5,000 individuals will be given support in finding new jobs as part of the government's ongoing attempts to reduce unemployment.
Mr Swinney added that the money would "provide an incentive for companies to take staff on" as well as offering "crucial cash to help meet the cost of hiring more employees".
In addition, it was suggested that the funds are designed to help encourage and boost the export industry.
The government also recently announced it was to invest £10 million in the next year in a bid to get more unemployed youngsters into work.
