Considering the impact of the impending Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) may be something companies in serviced offices in Edinburgh want to do.
Brian Wilkinson, head of Ranstad UK, has urged businesses to ensure they are aware of how the new initiative will affect their organisation.
His comments come after research by Ranstad shows that 37 per cent of employers know little about the possible impact of the policy.
It is due to be introduced in October and has been referred to by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation as likely to alter the recruitment landscape "forever".
Mr Wilkinson said: "With the implementation of the AWR just a few months away, it is a concern that such a high proportion of organisations are so unprepared."
He added that conducting a thorough assessment of resources and the impact of the regulations will allow companies to "optimise the structure and efficiency" of their staff.
