Companies working out of serviced offices in Edinburgh might be some of the enterprises that could discover staff morale and product sales can both be increased by corporate conferences.
According to Phil McCabe, spokesman for the Forum of Private Business, unexpected benefits can occur when firms hold these occasions.
"I think you can't underestimate the importance of team-building exercises and other events where staff and management come together," he declared.
However, he stated that smaller corporations can find it difficult to acquire the resources necessary for conferences and advised them to shop around for the best deal.
Mr McCabe concluded that the rising interest in these functions may be due to employers trying to make sure that their staff are engaged with the company's vision.
This concept correlates with research from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, which found that employee interest is a particularly important driver for productivity.
