People in serviced offices in Edinburgh might be some of the 74 per cent of British workers that argue with their colleagues over air conditioning.
This is according to a survey from uSwitchforbusiness.com, which found 28 per cent of respondents do so regularly.
In the north-west of England, 78 per cent of individuals engage in such conflicts, but this falls to 61 per cent in the south-west and 64 per cent in London.
A total of 86 per cent of employees complain about the temperature of their workplace and 72 per cent claim to be never satisfied.
Director of uSwitchforbusiness.com James Constant said this poll should "prompt businesses to look into their own use of air conditioning and consider whether they are throwing away money on wasted energy when in fact many workers are too cold".
This corresponds with the findings of Jones Lang LaSalle's Global Sustainability Perspective, which discovered people in environmentally-friendly offices are more productive.
