Female workers in serviced offices in Cardiff may be among the host of women that believe they are not being paid enough.
New research by MySalaryChecker revealed that 80.2 per cent of ladies feel they are being underpaid, with 31.3 per cent suspecting male colleagues get more money.
Of those claiming they are receiving too low a wage, a third expect they should be paid an additional 25 per cent on top of their current salary.
Despite such suspicions, 74.9 per cent of women admitted that they are unaware of the industry pay standard for their role.
Andy Powell from Adecco, one of the organisations behind MySalaryChecker.com, said: "It's particularly disturbing that female workers have the perception that they are underpaid but are not confident in understanding what they may be worth in the jobs market."
The website allows individuals to discover what the average salary level is by selecting from a wide number of careers across sectors such as Legal, IT and Telecommunications and Sales.
