Establishing a good work-life balance may be something staff at serviced offices in Cardiff want to consider.
Kevin Friery, clinical director at Right Corecare, explained how it is "incredibly important" that people find the right way to ensure their career and home life are not causing them stress.
"I tend to think of it as work-life integration, in that it's quite difficult to separate the two out; they're knitted together, really," he stated.
It was suggested that in the majority of cases if people are struggling at work it is down to issues outside of the office.
Mr Friery noted that this is the case in 85 per cent of situations where productivity drops and stress levels increase.
However, he noted that equally, sleeping patterns and eating habits can be altered due to problems at work.
The comments come after recent research carried out by Mentaline.com revealed that young adults aged under 25 are the most stressed demographic.
