Organisations operating out of serviced offices in Cardiff may want to follow on expert's advice and review their technology needs.
Joshua Norrid, vice-president of travel and leisure at Progress Software, described how companies can benefit greatly from new programmes and devices.
"Technology creates wonderful opportunities to sustain and grow," he commented.
It was suggested that businesses should look to embrace innovative practices and not scale back on their use of applications.
"Technology innovation should be looked at as an asset, it represents a beginning, but it is a journey and needs regular investment," Mr Norrid added.
His remarks come after business futurologist Dr James Bellini stated that organisations have increasingly accepted many forms of social networking into their production practices.
He noted that in the last decade, sites such as YouTube, Facebook and other similar tools have become popular and widely integrated into business and this reflects how the market may progress in the future.
