Companies operating out of serviced offices in Cardiff may be interested to hear how small businesses may soon be hit with back-dated energy bills.
Consumer Focus has warned that thousands of organisations could be affected after new research showed 1,848 complaints were made to the body last year alone.
Audrey Gallacher, head of energy at the company, explained how receiving a large bill can be a "nightmare" for smaller firms.
"It's important for businesses to ensure they are paying the right amount, but energy suppliers shouldn't treat small businesses in the same way as they would multi-national corporations," he stated.
As a result of the findings, Consumer Focus is calling for providers to give small companies the same protections as domestic consumers so they are not hit with thousands of pounds worth of charges.
The body aims to give a stronger voice to customers by helping to work alongside organisations to champion creative solutions.
