Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating out of serviced offices in Cardiff may benefit from a new scheme.
The Forum of Private Business (FPB) has launched the initiative Get Britain Trading in the hope of raising awareness about the importance of SMEs in promoting economic growth.
Company owners are being encouraged to get behind the campaign and sign up for a free advice pack containing information on common issues facing less-sizeable organisations.
The scheme is also designed to help improve the conditions that such businesses operate under.
Chief executive of the FPB Phil Orford said: "We really believe this campaign can transform the small business landscape in the UK and free SMEs from the shackles of excessive red tape."
He added that other issues it will deal with include "mind-bogglingly complex" tax laws and day-to-day problems.
Part of the campaign will see the government lobbied in a call for action that allows small businesses to buy and sell more profitably.
