Business leaders at serviced offices in Cardiff have been urged to ensure they employ the right individuals first time around in order to avoid tribunals.
In an interview with Recruiter, group recruitment manager at New Look Lee Evans explained how hiring the "best talent and best people" can save expensive costs in the long run.
His comments followed the suggestion that the government's proposed employment charter could allow workers to be sacked more easily as companies will not have to worry about the threat of being sued for unfair dismissal.
Mr Evans stated that if organisations are currently operating properly, then they should find they are safe from tribunals anyway.
"If we are doing things right and going through the probationary reviews and you have regular catch-ups, this [legislation] should not make much difference," he claimed.
The Prime Minister is believed to be hoping to introduce the new laws as part of a bid to encourage businesses to take on more staff.
