Companies planning a move to serviced offices in Cardiff or elsewhere may wish to involve their employees to make the process easier.
This is according to Phil McCabe, spokesman for the Forum of Private Business, who declared that moving a firm's location is "always a stressful time".
He recommended that companies use staff members to help with the change and added that the kind of relationship this would require is typically seen in small businesses.
This correlates with advice from Right Corecare clinical director Kevin Friery, who recently said that it is "far better and far more effective" to prevent stress rather than to attempt to cure it.
When choosing an office, Mr McCabe explained that the layout should facilitate the affiliations certain departments can have with each other, rather than act as a barrier to them.
"There has to be a bit of thought that goes into the planning of how you set your office out," he concluded.
