One expert has claimed more should be done to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to recruit new employees, news which may interest those in serviced offices in Cardiff.
Samantha O'Byrne, head of resourcing at Grant Thornton UK, told Recruiter that next week's Budget should focus on job creation in the private sector.
"Businesses need to be incentivised to create new jobs and it should be made easier for SME owners to take on new people," she said.
It was suggested that introducing initiatives such as apprenticeships and young mentoring schemes could help boost and encourage hiring among organisations.
Meanwhile, chief executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation Kevin Green explained that the chancellor is under pressure to announce changes that will stimulate the economy and job creation.
The chancellor of the Exchequer will present the Budget to parliament at 12:30 GMT on Wednesday March 23rd and all information about the contents will feature on the HM Revenue and Customs site.
