Firms seeking offices to rent could be set to benefit from new sources of finance, it has suggested.
Chris Gorman, spokesman for the Forum of Private Business, said it remains very difficult for small businesses to obtain loans from banks.
Consequently, alternative financial resources are emerging, such as 'funding circles', he continued.
These involve "a central hub where people can lend to small businesses and small businesses can lend to each other and bypass the banks to do things their own way," Mr Gorman explained.
And companies looking for serviced offices might like to consider options such as this in order to gain financial help.
Mr Gorman added the government is doing just about all it can to encourage banks to lend to emerging businesses, but if they don't want to issue loans they will find ways to avoid doing so.
The British Bankers' Association recently announced it has set up a taskforce to examine why the country's banks are failing to lend to small firms.
