Those seeking offices to let may find now is a good time to invest, after it was suggested the market is picking up.
There are signs of returning confidence to the commercial property sector, particularly in terms of self-invested pension plans (Sipp) and small self-administered schemes (SSAS), Money Marketing reported.
According to journalist Philip Scott, commercial property investment is still an attractive choice for certain types of pension saver.
And there are some "tentative" indicators that activity is coming back to the market, he continued.
Furthermore, Standard Life stated demand for commercial property continues to be high.
Alistair Hardie, head of Sipp at the company, remarked: "We believe that confidence is returning to the commercial property market, although we anticipate further downward pressures in returns for current holders of UK property over the next 12 months."
Recently, Michael Rhydderch, partner at Cushman and Wakefield, said the market for offices to let has rebounded significantly since the recession hit.
