Companies operating from offices to rent in Edinburgh may wish to use cloud computing systems, as it is said these can prove to be a very useful investment.
Chief executive of icomplete.com Stuart Hibbert claimed the technology allows data to be "available to [staff] 24 hours a day, seven days a week".
The cost of uptake is a "small price for some great functionality", he asserted.
Furthermore, productivity can also be enhanced by the cloud as workers at a firm can see "what's going on in real time", which helps employees avoid "chasing people up" to find out information, the expert declared.
It also assists a corporation's flexible working provision for their employees, allowing job-related tasks to be completed from home or in foreign countries, Mr Hibbert stated.
However, firms using cloud computing must ensure they keep client's details and other sensitive documents secure, commercial director of Vigil Software Alex Teh recently advised.
