Companies operating out of offices to rent in Cardiff may be interested to hear that almost half of all small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) feel the Budget will have little benefit.
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) conducted a poll that asked more than 800 members what impact they felt the chancellor of the exchequer's proposals would have on the day-to-day running of their firm.
Just 31 per cent said they thought the Budget would have a positive effect, while 45 per cent felt there would be no impact at all.
John Walker, national chairman at the FSB, said: "While we welcome the introduction of Enterprise Zones ... the missing link in the Budget was measures to help all UK businesses to take on staff and grow their business."
Following the announcement of the Budget on Tuesday March 23rd, Mr Walker commented that while some areas of red tape had been cut, the introduction of employment laws later this year could hinder SMEs.
