Small companies looking for offices to rent in Cardiff may be interested to hear that one expert has stressed the importance of preparation when applying for loans.
Spokesman for the Forum of Private Business Phil McCabe explained how there are a number of ways that organisations can make securing financial support more likely.
"It is important for business owners to up their game in terms of preparation and presentation of financial accounts and business plans, when they are approaching banks," he commented.
People were also advised that there was sure to be a "struggle ahead" as it is harder for firms when the economy is coming out of a recession than during one.
Mr McCabe described how the government needs to simplify the tax system so that small business owners, such as those looking for offices to rent, are wasting less time and money working through regulations.
A recent report by eBay suggested that one in three small to medium-sized enterprises have to rely on expensive overdraft facilities to borrow funds.
