Serviced offices could provide a good investment opportunity, as returns have risen in the last 12 months.
That is according to Money Marketing, which stated recent figures suggest the market is beginning to recover.
Property prices fell by 45 per cent between 2007 and 2009 due to a loss in demand as a result of the recession, the news provider said.
However, from June 2009 to June 2010, commercial property investment returns increased by 15 per cent, which could indicate the sector is starting to improve.
"The trend is for such properties to provide a consistent and increasing level of return and there is the potential for long-term growth," the writer commented.
Therefore, investors looking to purchase serviced offices may wish to take advantage of the current market conditions.
Anthony Wyld, head of marketing at Tritax, recently remarked that offices to let provide good opportunities for business people if they spread their assets over a number of properties.
