Small businesses, such as those planning to move into office space to rent in Northampton, can access a wide range of resources aimed at helping them get off the ground.
This is according to Emyr Williams, commercial director at Bytestart.co.uk, who argued such firms "aren't struggling due to a lack of tools".
Hhe was commenting after research from NatWest and Smarta.com revealed a third of small business owners - like those looking for offices to rent - consider abandoning their firm because of a perceived lack of assistance.
"If a business owner does find a need for a specific tool, they can easily be found by searching online," he remarked, adding that while creating a business plan is not absolutely necessary, it is important for start-ups to have an understanding of the market they intend to operate, as well as a "viable" business model.
Mr Williams, whose company assists approximately one million small firms and start-ups on an annual basis, also emphasised the importance of being able to recover from "inevitable" setbacks.
