Those looking to invest in commercial property might like to think about offices to let in London after comments from one expert.
Speaking to the Independent, Barry MacLennan, investment director of property products at Standard Life Investments, said offices in Central London are experiencing more growth than those elsewhere in the UK.
"The recovery so far has been uneven. Central London office markets have pulled away like a train and are very strong, but elsewhere things don't look that great," he remarked.
Mr MacLennan advised business people to be relatively cautious in their approach to investing in serviced offices - commercial property should not account for more than 15 to 20 per cent of an individual's portfolio, he said.
Furthermore, the news source noted financiers are returning to the commercial property sector after the market has yielded positive returns over the past year.
The news comes after Money Marketing reported growing confidence in the trade.
