Business people looking for a long-term investment might wish to consider offices to let in Hemel Hempstead, if comments from one individual are anything to go by.
In an article for Citywire, journalist Nicholas Paler noted a number of investors and economists have judged commercial property to be an attractive asset.
Experts have said the sector provides a higher income and more positive outlook than other classes of venture, he remarked.
Some investors may have reservations about the commercial property sector as it was hit hard by the recession in late 2007, but it has "recovered sharply since the low point and is now paying some sizeable incomes", Mr Paler continued.
He referred to Mike Deverell, investment manager at Equilibrium Asset Management, who described the yield of offices to let as "appealing".
Furthermore, Ian McBryde - manager of the Isis Property Trust - recently told Fund Strategy commercial property is becoming a more attractive investment because the profits of other assets are falling in the recession.
