Businesses looking for office space to rent in Cardiff may wish to develop a cloud computing policy as it may provide them with multiple benefits.
Easynet Connect general manager Andy Horn said companies will "reap the rewards" if their strategy is thought-out.
As well as "greater financial control and access to applications" that can improve a corporation's efficiency, greater flexible working provisions can be realised through using this kind of technology, he explained.
The expert noted that "more and more solutions" have become available that have made any data security issues enterprises may have had regarding the cloud "very manageable".
However, this is still "the main issue" when this form of processing is discussed, "regardless of the size of the businesses", he asserted.
Mr Horn's comments echo the results of a survey conducted by iTWire, which found 67 per cent of IT managers believe cloud computing and virtualisation to be the most promising innovations that could provide value to their firms.
