Small organisations - including those in serviced offices in Northampton - will find emerging technological trends crucial to their marketing strategy over the coming years, it has been suggested.
Speaking to the Financial Post, David Wilton, director of small business banking at Scotiabank, stated bosses need to find creative ways of using new tools.
"An entrepreneur should watch tech trends and recognise that opportunities exist beyond traditional thinking," he remarked.
Mr Wilton said it is crucial to start slowly, by setting up a Twitter account for example, before setting targets and evaluating the results of implemented schemes.
Companies should think of new ways to present their services to their customers, he continued.
And those in offices to rent might like to heed Mr Wilton's advice in order to keep apace with technological advancements.
Earlier this month, editor and founder of smartgorillas.com Heather Mclean stated smartphones have revolutionised offices for small firms by making staff available to their customers at all times.
