Small businesses - including those in serviced offices - could benefit from assistance with internet marketing.
That is according to Phil Orford, chief executive of the Forum of Private Business (FPB), who was commenting on a series of conferences to be held by the body to give companies advice on search engine optimisation, website development and online presence.
The internet and the jargon surrounding it are constantly changing at a fast pace, said Mr Orford, which means "small business owners are often left dazed and confused when assessing their options online".
But emergent organisations can gain an understanding of the topic free of charge and learn ways to "make the internet work for them" at the events, he continued.
And companies in serviced offices might like to attend one of the FPB conferences in order to improve their online presence.
It was recently suggested by Nick Baggott, founder of Navigate Consulting, that small organisations could benefit from using blogs to establish a voice in their market.
