A review of employment tribunal laws could have a positive outcome for businesses operating out of serviced offices in Cardiff, it has been suggested.
Chief executive of Work Wise UK Phil Flaxton described how currently the regulations are balanced in favour of staff rather than employers.
"I perhaps wonder whether over the last ten years we have possibly become more lenient on things like industrial tribunals," he said.
The expert explained how the last decade has seen a rise in the number of cases of people taking employers to trial, which has led to a "suing society".
Mr Flaxton implied that the UK tends to follow American culture and has reverted away from practices seen in the rest of the European Union.
His comments follow a recent warning from the Trades Union Congress that government proposals to increase the qualifying period in which workers can claim unfair dismissal would allow companies to sack people more easily.
