Small companies operating out of serviced offices in Edinburgh may want to take note of one expert's advice on boosting sales.
Business futurologist James Bellini explained how technology has changed the way organisations function and that it is vital to stay on top of new developments.
He claimed that many successful firms have managed to become so as they "harness" new innovations in the digital world.
"You can sell a traditional product in a very 21st century, digital way by making use of the technologies about," Mr Bellini advised.
It was suggested that even sectors selling products like ladies tights or tradesmen such as locksmiths can benefit from using technology to market themselves.
"Innovation is also about how you do things," Mr Bellini reminded business owners.
His comments follow recent research from Becrypt that revealed the demand for mobile working facilities is continuing to grow as staff request more flexible employment arrangements.
