People working in serviced offices in Cardiff may want to start thinking about saving for their pensions following the results of a new report.
Director general of the Saga Group Dr Ros Altmann has warned that many workers may not have enough funds to keep them as they age.
Her comments follow the latest figures released by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) that reveal more and more individuals will live to see their 100th birthday.
It is suggested that in the coming decades there will be an increase in the number of elderly staff employed at places such as serviced offices in Cardiff.
Dr Altmann stated: "Living longer poses potential problems for final salary schemes, as pensions have to be paid out for far longer than ever originally envisaged."
In January, the DWP claimed that the number of people living to 100 is set to double by 2020.
