Small companies operating out of serviced offices in Edinburgh may be interested in new guidance designed to promote workplace health.
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and mental health charity Mind have joined forces to produce information on how organisations can help support their staff.
John Walker, national chairman at the FSB, said: "Small businesses have good relationships with their staff, but this guide suggests ways to help increase productivity and performance of their employees while saving the business money."
According to the body, one in six British workers suffer from unmanageable stress, anxiety and depression each year and this can cost companies up to £26 billion annually.
However, it suggested that due to their flexible nature many small businesses are in an "ideal position" to make simple and cost-effective changes to help improve the lives of their staff.
Mind aims to promote good mental health and ensure discrimination is challenged.
