Serviced offices in Northampton may see a rise in the number of apprentices learning about business following the start of a week dedicated to promoting the scheme.
Yesterday (February 7th) marked the start of National Apprenticeship Week, which is designed to highlight the benefits young people can gain from taking vocational routes into the workplace, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) reports.
Tom Hadley, the REC's director of policy and professional services, explained how companies can help individuals gain experience that will prepare them for the competitive jobs market.
"Apprenticeships increasingly prove a key way to help young people take their first step into the world of work, developing employable skills that will benefit them throughout their working lives," he stated.
This form of employment is one way for individuals to earn money as they learn as well as allowing them to gain recognised qualifications, according to the official Apprenticeships website.
